Improved email delivery
We upgraded the website email delivery to a new service to improve deliverability of announcements and system messages.
If you see any issues where messages are not being received, please let us know by either submitting a bug report from the website “Submit feature request” link or by emailing [email protected].
Improved database update performance
We improved the scripts used when creating new assessment worksheets and on other screens where CampusCISO clones a template to allow an individual user or institution to submit specific data. These screens load slightly faster now.
Compliance gap analysis support
We plan to have the updated gap analysis features, including a new streamlined report format, available for premium membership subscribers after the Labor Day weekend.
- The NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF) mapping update is mostly complete, but I am going through it one more time this week before finalizing the latest updates.
- Premium subscription members can preview the NIST CSF gap analysis report under the “Reports –> CYBER HEAT MAP Reports” dashboard menu.
- We will add mapping to the NIST 800-171 requirements next. That work should be complete around Labor Day weekend.
Weekly member newsletter
Users wanted a way to stay on top of updates and new features without needing to logon to the website.
As part of the new email delivery service, we added an announcement newsletter for CampusCISO members. Look for an update each Monday that summarizes new articles and announcements from the website.
