Articles moved to CampusCISO website
We moved all our blog articles from our LLC website, www.cschreiber.llc, to CampusCISO. You can view our insights about higher education cybersecurity. As we publish new articles, we’ll highlight them in the weekly subscriber newsletter.
We plan to start posting new content again starting in September. Keep an eye out for new articles exploring higher education cybersecurity topics, tips and tricks to use CampusCISO, and more.
NIST 800-171 mapping is published!
We finished mapping the NIST 800-171 requirements to the CYBER HEAT MAP framework!
If you have a premium subscription, you can view this data under “Reports –> CYBER HEAT MAP Reports –> Compliance Analysis Report.”
Compliance Analysis Next Steps
Now that the mapping is complete for the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST 800-171, we will work on streamlining the compliance analysis report.
The current report shows deployment status for each capability that has been mapped to each control. While useful, this doesn’t provide the cleanest summary view. Look for an updated report in September that summarizes each control based on your capability assessment answers.
