The CYBER HEAT MAP model now allows you to flag capabilities that are in place today that require additional work.
When completing the Capability Assessment Worksheet, there is a new option to select “Needs Refresh” for a particular capability. This status is used to show that the capability is in pace today, but your team needs to plan for a replacement or other significant update.
When CYBER HEAT MAP evaluates your capability gaps, it includes these refresh projects when prioritizing which capabilities your institution should focus on upgrading.
